H.T 4.20 pm L.T 9.45 am… Virtually no wind early this morn and still super warm…the swell is wind affected from early this morn and around 2ft…maybe a dribble down on the beachies for those needing to get wet…it’s expected to swing onshore proper by 11.00 am…so worth keeping an eye on it before that…Friday will be south to south east at 15K’s and 4ft…junky onshore surf at 13th and townies…looks like a good day to go to work….Saturday will be east to north east at 15K’s and 4 to 5ft…looks like a large potentially nasty swell at 13th and townies…likely hard work for intermediate and inexperienced surfers…expected onshore cross shore by 2.00 pm…Sunday will be westerly at 7K’s and 3ft…light cross shore at 13th and townies…mmm…Posso’s maybe a good option this morn….Monday will be northerly at 5K’s and 3ft…clean surf from 8 till 2.00 pm…13th or townies should be good fun….stay upright and make a difference Ross Rasta Surf Co

Wes Laine

Wes Laine , one of the most fluid and stylish surfers of the 80’s . Wes turned pro in 1979 and was ranked 9th in the world in 1983/1985. At 6.4 and 170lb he was masterful in the solid Hawaiian waves at Off the Wall and Backdoor. Noted for his bright surfboards and wetsuits that were part of the 80’s surf scene. H.T 3.30 pm L.T 9.00 am…A super clean morn of peaky surf, northerly at 15K’s and at 3ft or so but the banks are super-fast and shifty…making for challenging conditions…being young and nimble would be an advantage…where are those fast twitch growth hormones again…mmm…no doubt as the tide fills the banks should improve….heaps of crew out and about…pretty much full carparks at present…patience is a virtue…a top of 33 degrees so get out there and enjoy the day…Thursday will be north to north east at 5K’s and 2ft…small clean waves till 11.00am then an expected westerly kicks in…onshore proper by 2.00pm….Friday will be south east at 15K’s and 3 to 4ft…solid onshore surf…hard work on the open beaches…a good day to rest and recuperate…mmm….Saturday will be north east at 10K’s and 4ft…solid clean waves at 13th and townies…tending east to south east at 10K’s later in the arvo….Sunday will be northerly at 20K’s and 3ft…more clean fun surf at 13th and townies…go surfing, god would want you to…stay upright and make a difference Ross Rasta Surf Co001 002 008 012

High Tide 1.45 pm L.T 7.15 am…A sea breeze this morn from the south at 10K’s and a very weak 2ft swell…no options today but when the cloud burns off it will be a super autumn day…so let’s enjoy…Tuesday will be north to north east at 4K’s and 2ft…a very weak swell again but cleaning up from 8.00am onwards to 2.00pm…ideal for log or SUP me thinks…13th or townies…your choice…Wednesday will be northerly at 30K’s and 3ft…a howling clean offshore most of the day…will be a fun day of surf…13th and townies…mmm…Thursday will be northerly at 30K’s and 3ft…a window of clean surf early at 13th and townies…onshore by 11.00am…go surfing….Friday will be south east at 15K’s and 3 to 4ft…an onshore day of surf…best to keep working me thinks…stay upright and make a difference Ross Rasta Surf Co.001

H.T 12.40pm L.T 6.05 am…A pretty windy east to southeaster at 25K’s and 2ft…super mild weather conditions and it’s expected to swing offshore by 11.00 am till 2.00 pm…mmm…strange but possible…so keep an eye on conditions to see if that eventuates…it’s expected to swing onshore again by 2.00 pm…mmm…Monday will be south west at 4K’s and 2ft…a dribbly weak onshore at 13th and townies….time for some retail therapy in Barwon heads…Tuesday will be north to north east at 3k’s and 2ft…clean small waves till an onshore by 2.00 pm….ideal day for the Fish’ log or SUP…soak up that sunshine peoples…Wednesday will be northerly at 30K’s and 3ft…a stiff blowy offshore at 13th and townies…go surfing it’s gonna be good fun….Thursday will be north to north west at 9K’s and 3ft…clean surf in the morn till 11.00 am when the onshores expected to kick in…this weather is amazing…Stay Upright and make a difference Ross Rasta Surf Co001

H.T 11.30 am L.T 5.25 pm…Surprisingly clean surf this morn at 13th and townies…a solid 2ft and some ankle breaking waves…winds are expected to be light most of the day and tending east to south east by late morn…so still not a bad day to roll the shoulder in some low energy waves…Sunday will be easterly at 15K’s and 2ft…light cross shore at 13th and townies  but expected to swing offshore at 11.00am and super clean for a few hours then swinging onshore by 2.00pm…Monday will be west to north west at 5K’s and 3ft…more pretty clean surf at 13th and townies…expected onshore by 2.00pm…cracking weather for autumn me thinks….Tuesday will be north east at 5k’s and 2ft…more clean small surf at 13th and townies…ideal for the fish, log or SUP…again onshore by 2.00pm but with light winds…Wednesday looks like being offshore all day….13th and townies will all be fun…more sunscreen with this sunshine…mmm….stay upright and make a difference Ross Rasta Surf Co003 007 002

H.T 4.55 pm L.T 10.15 am….How do I let you my lovelies down ever so gently that the next five days are going to be onshore, being sensitive to your needs, I think it’s best to suggest why not spend some time raking leaves, learn to bake bread or give some Tai Chi a go…southerly at 18K’s and 2 to 3ft…mmm…maybe a clean dribble down at Lorne….Saturday will be easterly at 12K’s and 4ft…cross shore at 13th and townies …tending onshore by mid morn….looks like hard work…..Sunday will be south east at 15K’s and 3ft…yes another day of onshore surf…Supping the river might be fun….or check Lorne out again for a small clean wave…..Monday will be east to south east at 20K’s and 3ft…more difficult surf conditions on the open beaches…why bother…stay safe in the cafes….Tuesday will be east to south east at 25K’s and 4 to 5ft…big nasty surf at 13th and townies…do some stretching….hammies….then hit the cafes again….stay upright and make a difference Ross Rasta Surf Co
