H.T 5.20 am L.T 11.25 am…010 A fairly wonky swell at 13th and townies with a 3ft swell marching in….still not that many crew around early…me thinks it will settle down during the day but on a  dropping tide the banks maybe a little fickle…still an awesome day with a top temp of 33 degrees predicted….sunscreen and hat day me thinks…go surfing….Monday will be north east at 5K’s and 2ft…clean small surf at 13th and townies until around 2.00 pm when an onshore expected…Tuesday will be south east at 2K’s and 3ft…light onshore surf conditions…still surfable and a window of offshore at 11.00 am….then back onshore again….Wednesday will be southerly at 18K’s and 4ft…a fresh onshore junky surf on offer at 13th and townies…maybe a clean small wave at Lorne…mmm…Thursday will be east to south east at 15K’s and 3 to 4ft…large onshore cross shore junky surf…looks like hard work on the open beaches…Friday will be north east at 6K’s and 3ft…clean head high surf at 13th and townies…go surfing….stay upright and make a difference Ross Rasta Surf Co

H.T 5.27 pm L.T 11.58 am…A semi clean peaky morn of surf at 13th and townies…around 2 to 3ft on the pulses…looks like being a beautiful day to get in the water…a wind shift is expected by 2.00 pm tending easterly then east to south east….go surfing….Sunday will be northerly at 10K’s and 2 to 3ft…clean fun waves all day at 13th and townies…a hot one so don’t forget to grab the sunscreen and hat….Monday will be north to north east at 15K’s and 2 to 3ft…another morn of clean surf at 13th and townies…tending southerly by late morn….Tuesday will be west to north west at 20K’s and 2 to 3ft….windy conditions but still surfable…reefs may be clean too from Posso’s to Bells…onshore by 2.00 pm….Wednesday will be south to south west at 20K’s and 5 to 6ft…large onshore junky surf on the open beaches…best chance of a clean wave will be east of townies, Fisho’s Torqool, Pt Addis, Pt Road Knight, Lorne and Kennett…..stay upright and make a difference Ross Rasta Surf Co

H.T 4.55 pm L.T 10.15 am…A rather cool morn at the gentrified Barwon Heads this morn, a cool south to southeaster at 15K’s and a 2 to 3ft swell on the open beaches…no great options today for a surf…maybe a clean dribble down at Lorne…mmm…Saturday will be east to north east at 18K’s and 4ft…a peaky fast swell on the low tide dropping banks…tending easterly by around midday…13th or townies will be ok…challenging for beginners and learners….Sunday will be northerly at 15K’s and 3ft…looks like clean fun waves all day…a great day to hit 13th or townies…expected full car parks early as its going to be a cracker of a day…slip ,slop and slap….Monday will be north to north east at 20K’s and 3ft…a windy clean offshore in the morn…13th or townies will be fun….expected to swing east to south east by late morn….Tuesday will be west to south west at 20K’s and 3ft…junky onshore surf at 13th and townies…cleaner surf at Pt Road Knight and Lorne….stay upright and make a difference Ross Rasta Surf Co  007

H.T 4.20 pm L.T 9.45 am… Virtually no wind early this morn and still super warm…the swell is wind affected from early this morn and around 2ft…maybe a dribble down on the beachies for those needing to get wet…it’s expected to swing onshore proper by 11.00 am…so worth keeping an eye on it before that…Friday will be south to south east at 15K’s and 4ft…junky onshore surf at 13th and townies…looks like a good day to go to work….Saturday will be east to north east at 15K’s and 4 to 5ft…looks like a large potentially nasty swell at 13th and townies…likely hard work for intermediate and inexperienced surfers…expected onshore cross shore by 2.00 pm…Sunday will be westerly at 7K’s and 3ft…light cross shore at 13th and townies…mmm…Posso’s maybe a good option this morn….Monday will be northerly at 5K’s and 3ft…clean surf from 8 till 2.00 pm…13th or townies should be good fun….stay upright and make a difference Ross Rasta Surf Co

Wes Laine

Wes Laine , one of the most fluid and stylish surfers of the 80’s . Wes turned pro in 1979 and was ranked 9th in the world in 1983/1985. At 6.4 and 170lb he was masterful in the solid Hawaiian waves at Off the Wall and Backdoor. Noted for his bright surfboards and wetsuits that were part of the 80’s surf scene. H.T 3.30 pm L.T 9.00 am…A super clean morn of peaky surf, northerly at 15K’s and at 3ft or so but the banks are super-fast and shifty…making for challenging conditions…being young and nimble would be an advantage…where are those fast twitch growth hormones again…mmm…no doubt as the tide fills the banks should improve….heaps of crew out and about…pretty much full carparks at present…patience is a virtue…a top of 33 degrees so get out there and enjoy the day…Thursday will be north to north east at 5K’s and 2ft…small clean waves till 11.00am then an expected westerly kicks in…onshore proper by 2.00pm….Friday will be south east at 15K’s and 3 to 4ft…solid onshore surf…hard work on the open beaches…a good day to rest and recuperate…mmm….Saturday will be north east at 10K’s and 4ft…solid clean waves at 13th and townies…tending east to south east at 10K’s later in the arvo….Sunday will be northerly at 20K’s and 3ft…more clean fun surf at 13th and townies…go surfing, god would want you to…stay upright and make a difference Ross Rasta Surf Co001 002 008 012

H.T 2.40 pm L.T 8.15 am …003Very small clean surf at 13th and townies on a low tide…banks are struggling but still a nice day to bust out the log or SUP or belly board and hit the water, going to be a lovely warm autumn day….expected east to south east by around 2.00 pm…Wednesday will be northerly at 35K’s and 3ft…clean fun waves all day at 13th and townies…mmm….might be a good day to ditch work and forget the pay rise or bonus…Thursday will be northerly at 30K’s and 3ft…clean surf early but expected onshore 11.00 am…early bird gets da barrel me thinks…Friday will be south east at 15K’s and 3ft…junky onshore surf at 13th and townies…uninspiring…keep on the tools….Saturday will be north east at 10K’s and 3ft….clean fun waves all day at 13th and townies…go surfing and soak up the wonderful autumnesque vibe…warm water and a top of 32 degrees…stay upright and make a difference Ross Rasta Surf Co
