Rasta 13th Beach Surf Report 19.11.18

Rasta 13th Beach Surf Report 19.11.18…tis cleaning up on the open beaches but still some wonk and sluggishness in the waves…hopefully it will settle during the day and improve with the banks…around 2ft with slightly bigger pulses…beautiful day with a top of 28 degrees predicted…😊🏄‍♀️🏄‍♂️…High Tide 8.40am Low Tide 2.30pm…Tuesday will be northerly at 25k’s and 1 to 2ft…small and clean surf all day at 13th and townies…me thinks an ideal day for the big board or trad fish…find a bank and have some fun…Wednesday will be west to north westerly at 13k’s and 2 to 3ft…a fair amount of westerly in this pattern so likely a tad too cross shore for 13th and townies….cleaner waves at Posso’s to Bells…maybe a high tide paddle at Raffamea Bay…an expected east to south easterly onshore by 2.00pm…mmm…Thursday will be west to north westerly at 25k’s and 2 to 3ft…again the westerly aspect may make it too cross shore for 13th and townies…cleaner at Posso’s to Bells…maybe a high tide session at Raffamea Bay…an onshore is expected by 5.00pm from the south to south west…Friday will be west to south west at 5 to 8ft…a super solid onshore swell on the open beaches…time to think of the protected breaks for a clean wave…east of townies,Fisho’s Torqool, Pt Addis, Pt Road Knight, Lorne and Kennett….Saturday will be west to south west at 25k’s and 4 to 7ft…still solid onshore surf at 13th and townies…again cleaner wave optins…east of townies, Fisho’s Torqool, Pt Addis, Pt Road Knight, Lorne and Kennett…stay upright and make a difference Ross Rasta Surf Co

Rasta 13th Beach Surf Report 18.11.18

Rasta 13th Beach Surf Report 18.11.18…An east to south easterly persists this morning making for a rather glum surf outlook today…maybe 2ft or so on the pulses…no wave options here apart from maybe Quarantines…time to rewax the stick and ponder life…I’d still be keeping clear of townies until the whale issue is properly resolved…mmm…High Tide 8.00am Low Tide 1.41pm…Monday will be north to north easterly at 25k’s and 2 to 3ft…clean offshore surf all day at 13th and townies…a super warm day with surf…happy days…Tuesday will be northerly at 35k’s and 1 to 2ft…still clean but super small at 13th and townies…find a bank and walk the log or fry the fish…the onshore is expected by 5.00pm…Wednesday will be westerly at 15k’s and 2 to 3ft…cross shore at 13th and townies…clean surf at Posso’s and Bells…maybe a high tide paddle at Raffamea Bay…an onshore south wester by 2.00pm…Thursday will be west to north westerly at 35k’s and 4 to 6ft…super solid surf at 13th and townies…likely cleaner at Posso’s to Bells for experienced surfers…maybe a high tide paddle at Raffamea Bay…onshore southerly by 11.00am…maybe Pt Road Knight and Lorne then….Friday will be west to south westerly at 25k’s and 4 to 6ft…still super solid cross shore onshore surf…cleaner waves east of townies, Fisho’s Torqool, PT Addis, Pt Road Knight, Lorne and Kennett….stay upright and make a difference Ross Rasta Surf Co

Steamer Lane Santa Cruz

Steamer Lane in Santa Cruz, it’s always been on the surfers radar and bucket list but like all breaks has many moods…sometimes it looks a good fun wave, other times like a fast moving steam roller mowing everything and anything down…the jump off the point looks super sketchy too…still on my bucket list but will pick my day and watch it for a while…Photo Credit Surfline Jump off by Julia Gaudinski

Rasta 13th Beach Surf Report 17.11.18….a strong onshore southerly wind at 13th and townies…around 3ft or so…with the onshore and dead whale at townies Collendina 5w…probs safer having a surf down at Pt Road Knight or Lorne me thinks…mmm…High Tide 7.161m Low Tide 12.59pm…Sunday will be light south easterly early then a predicted light east to north easterly at 10k’s from 8 till 11…then back onshore proper by 2.00pm…hard to see it cleaning up too much but maybe a few clean faces on offer…Monday will be north to north easterly at 20k’s and 2 to 3ft…looks like some clean offshore surf all day at 13th and townies…keep your eyes peeled for shark activity…safety first…Tuesday will be northerly at 30k’s and 1 to 2ft…clean surf again but smaller pulses…ideal for the log and fish…13th or townies your choice…an onshore is expected by 2.00pm form the south east…Wednesday will be south westerly at 15k’s and 2 to 3ft…onshore and junky early but expected to swing more westerly as the morn progresses…maybe Posso’s to Bells will be the clean wave option… a high tide paddle at Raffamea Bay might be fun…Thursday will be westerly at 20k’s and 3 to 4ft…solid cross shore surf at 13th and townies…clean quality waves at Posso’s to Bells…clean waves at Raffamea Bay on the high tide…stay upright and make a difference Ross Rasta Surf Co
