Beacon…H.T 1.35 pm L.T 7.21 am…A mild wonk and lumpy swell greets the intrepid surfer this morn…the wind is very light but not really aiding or abetting the situation…a warm day of summer sunshine light east to north east tending easterly at 7K’s by 2.00pm…Tuesday will be north east at 6K’s and 3ft by 8.00 am…a window of clean waves until 2.00pm when an expected east to southeaster by 2.00pm…13th or townies should be fun….Wednesday will be east to south east at 3K’s and 2ft….a weak onshore swell…no joy…..Thursday will be south to south east at 5K’s and 2ft…more weak onshore surf….mmm….Friday will be south to south east at 15K’s and 3ft…more onshore surf…not the start to autumn we were looking for….stay upright and make a difference Ross Rasta Surf Co

Wideley recognized in the 60’s as one of the best traditional longboarders of his time, his ability to nose ride and trim honed on his classic home breaks such as Hollister Ranch. H.T 12.33 pm L.T 6.15 am….a fresh easterly at 13th beach and townies this morn with a solid wonky shifty 4ft swell…looks like hard work and no banks firing at present…likely easier to roll the shoulder at Townies today for those desperate for a paddle…there maybe a small window of east to north east 11.00am to 2pm but that remains to be seen…tending east to south east after 2.00pm…Monday will be north east at 6K’s and 3ft…clean fun waves in the morn bit expected to turn easterly at 7K’s by 2.00pm…Tuesday will be north east at 6K’s and 3ft…another morn of clean surf at 13th and townies till 2.00pm….turning east to southeast at 6K’s…mmm….Wednesday will be south east at 5K’s and 2ft…small onshore surf at 13th and townies…looks like a day off surfing…..Thursday will be south east at 10K’s and 2ft….more onshore dribble…keep working folks…stay upright and make a difference Ross Rasta Surf Co008

For those that have friends whom don’t like facebook the Rasta surf report is available at rastasurfboards.com.au , for those that love facebook we remain true friends…H.T 11.21 am L.T 5.25 pm…A super strong onshore wind at 25K’s and a 4 to 5ft junky swell…13th and townies are trashed, all roads lead to the protected breaks like east of townies, Fisho’s Torqool, Pt Addis, Pt Road Knight, Lorne and Kennett….Sunday will be large on an easterly wind at 15K’s and 4 to 5ft…looks like very hard work…a small window of potential offshore from 11 till 2 but still pretty rugged….tending east to south easterly by 2.00pm…mmm…Monday will be north east at 6K’s and 3ft…clean till around 2.00pm when the predicted east to south easterly blows up….Tuesday will be north east at 6K’s and 3ft…again clean at 13th and townies till 2.00pm….Wednesday will be north east at 5K’s and 2ft….again clean at 13th and townies will 2.00 pm when the east to southeaster kicks in….stay upright and make a difference Ross Rasta Surf Co

Reno Abellira

Reno Abellira also known as the prince of speed. A renowned Hawaiian surfer of the 60’s and 70’s who was a gifted surfer/shaper and board designer. Reno’s designs influenced both Dick Brewer in the Lightning Bolt era and directly made an impact of the Mark Richards twin fins that have become recognized throughout the world.Noted for his super low stance and rocketing speeds generated on long fast walls.Reno was also an accomplished big wave rider winning the 1974 Smirnoff in 25ft plus surf at Waimea Bay.download (1)

H.T 10.05 am L.T 4.05 pm… A fresh onshore southerly wind at 13th and townies with a 3ft wind swell…very uninspiring…no options local for a clean wave…maybe a clean dribble down Lorne way with the option of a latte and escargot…Saturday will be southerly at 18K’s and 4 to 5ft…larger onshore surf at 13th and townies…protected breaks will be the order of the day, East of townies, Pt Addis, Pt Road Knight and Lorne….Sunday will be east to north east at 4ft…maybe still unsettled but 13th and townies will be worth a look…tending east to south east at 7K’s by late morn junking up conditions….Monday will be north to north east at 7K’s and 3ft…fairly clean surf at 13th and townies early …the wind is expected to shift east to south east at 7K’s by 2.00pm….Tuesday will be north to north east at 5K’s and 3ft…clean fun surf at 13th and townies…another wind shift to the east to south east by 2.00pm….stay upright and make a difference Ross Rasta Surf Co 005

H.T 9.05 am L.T 3.10 pm… Its west to north west at 15K’s… Tis very small this morn at 13th and townies…barely 1ft, though some faint swell lines rolling through…best option will be the beachies for a log or SUP before it gets too windy…will tend westerly by midday…Friday will be south to south west at 12K’s and 2 to 3ft…onshore and junky surf at 13th and townies…clean surf at Pt Road Knight and Lorne…Saturday will be southerly at 20K’s and 4 to 5ft…super solid onshore surf at 13th and townies…clean east of townies, Fisho’s Torqool, Pt Addis, Pt Road Knight, Lorne and Kennett….Sunday will be east to south east at 18K’s and 5ft…large onshore cross shore surf…not for the faint hearted…no real options in these surf conditions….Monday will be north east at 6K’s and 2 to 3ft…clean fun waves at 13th and townies….best before 2.00pm when the cross shore easterly kicks in….stay upright and make a difference Ross Rasta Surf Co1st Carpark 13th Beach
