Australian pioneer and surf explorer Peter Troy. In the early 60’s Peter Troy traversed the globe in search of surf and excitement, that journey covered over 120 countries. Troy surfed some of the most exotic locations in the world without a mobile phone, ipad ,google or surfers atlas. Pat Curren a surfing pioneer from California who forged a career as a surfboard designer/shaper in the 1950’s. Pat Curren was the first of a group of surfers to charge huge Waimea Bay on gun surfboards. Curren became a specialist big wave board shaper and was at the forefront of gun surfboard design.
