The Rasta 13th Beach Winter Surf Report 01.07.19….High Tide 10.15am Low Tide 3.26pm….clean offshore 4ft waves at 13th and Townies…a great day to get out there and commune with Huey the surf god…mmm…Tuesday will be north westerly at 22K’s and 4 to 6ft…solid clean offshore surf at 13th and Townies and likely a day for the more experienced surfers…tending west to north west by 10.00am so a more westerly aspect may create some cross shore effect on the wave quality…Raffamea Bay maybe a high tide option me thinks..clean quality surf too on the reefs from Posso’s to Bells…Wednesday will be westerly at 12K’s and 4 to 5ft at 13th and townies…likely cross shore again on the open beaches…super clean at Posso’s to Bells…an early high tide wave at Raffamea Bay before the expected onshore from the west to south west by 10.00am at 9K’s…think sheltered breaks like east of townies,Fisho’s Torqool, Pt Addis, Pt Addis, Pt Road Knight, Lorne and Kennett…Thursday will be easterly at 6K’s and 3 to 4ft…light cross shore surf at 13th and Townies, still surfable for those keen to get wet….Friday will be north to north easterly at 11K’s and 2 to 3ft…looks like a day of fun clean waves all day…a great day to get out there regardless of being a pro or kook…mmm…stay upright and make a difference Ross Rasta Surf Co

The Rasta 13th Beach Winter Surf Report 30.06.19

The Rasta 13th Beach Winter Surf Report 30.06.19 High Tide 9.13am Low Tide 2.05pm…As expected there’s a load of westerly wind in this  pattern making a heaps of cross shore wonk on the beachies, surprisingly still clean faces on a peaky swell…hardly any crew around as it looks like a day for the reefs, Posso’s to Bells will be cleaner and more settled. A high tide paddle at Raffamea Bay will be a clean local option me thinks…still all in all a pleasant day to roll the shoulder…mmm…Monday will be north to north westerly at 31K’s and 2 to 4ft…looks like a day of super clean surf at 13th and Townies…yes looking a blustery offshore but it should be good fun…a board with weight is sometimes an advantage these days…mmm…Tuesday will be north westerly at 23K’s and 4 to 5ft…clean offshore at first light but expected to swing more westerly and make for cross shore conditions on the open beaches…likely cleaner on the reefs from Posso’s to Bells, cleaner waves at Raffamea Bay too me thinks…Wednesday will be westerly at 10K’s and 5ft…expected solid surf at 13th and Townies…again likely too cross shore so better quality from Posso’s to Bells…again Raffamea Bay on the high tide will be a clean local option…an onshore by 1.00pm is expected from the south…when that hits think of the sheltered breaks, east of Townies, Fisho’s Torqool, Pt Addis, Pt Road Knight, Lorne and Kennett…Thursday and its looking a little spring like with this easterly wind…fairly light at 9K’s but cross shore here on our beaches, those keen for a paddle will go but no great options with these conditions…maybe Quarantines for those with an inclination for a sea journey…Stay Upright and Make a Difference Ross Rasta Surf Co

The Rasta 13th Beach Winter Surf Report 29.06.19

The Rasta 13th Beach Winter Surf Report 29.06.19…High Tide 8.02am Low Tide 1.06pm…a blustery Offshore northerly at 35K’s and a 3ft swell at 13th and Townies, showers passing through but not that cold and pretty mild considering it’s winter…fun waves all day so treat yourself and go roll the shoulder and soak up some brine peoples…mmm…Sunday will be west to north westerly at 25K’s and 3 to 4ft…a load of west in this pattern which is likely to affect the quality on the open beaches, usually some wonk and wobble can be expected…still surfable but me thinks the reefs from Posso’s to Bells will likely by way cleaner and more consistent…Raffamea Bay on the mid to high tide early will also be a good local option…mmm…Monday will be north to north westerly at 22K’s and 2 to 4ft…clean quality surf at 13th and Townies, a fun day of surf is on the cards…it might be a multiple surf day(MSD) day…get out there…Tuesday will be north westerly at 25K’s and 4 to 6ft…yes this is the pulse that most forecasters think will actually eventuate…super clean early but by 10.00am its expected to swing more west to north westerly into a westerly proper…me thinsk the reefs from Posso’s to Bells will then be firing…locally again Raffamea Bay will benefit from the westerly aspect by then…mid to high tide best…Wednesday will be west to north westerly at 6K’s and 4 to 5ft…still solid and surfable at 13th and Townies but again the westerly aspect will create some cross shore influence which means the reefs will likely be a better option…Posso’s to Bells….onshore south westerly by 4.00pm…think then Pt Road Knight , Lorne and east of townies…Stay Upright and Make Difference Ross Rasta Surf Co

The Rasta 13th Beach Winter Surf Report 28.06.19

The Rasta 13th Beach Winter Surf Report 28.06.19…High Tide 7.01am Low Tide 12.21pm a strong clean Offshore at 30K’s and a 1 to 2 ft swell on the full tide…still looks like a  day for the longer equipment…13th and Townies will be your best option…a top of 18 degrees is predicted so treat yourself if time permits…mmm…Saturday will be a blustery offshore at nearly 40K’s with a 3ft swell…me thinks something heavy will be the best equipment to catch a few waves at 13th and Townies…there’s a logging comp at Boings so unless you’re in super early that might be a good place to avoid…though good fun if you want to watch some classic logging…Sunday will be west to north west at 31K’s and 4 to 5ft…looking pretty solid at 13th and Townies but with this westerly aspect it maybe too cross shore on the open beaches like 13th and Townies…Posso’s to Bells will be cleaner but busy, locally Raffamea Bay could be good fun on the high tide early….Monday will be north to north westerly at 26K’s and 2 to 4ft…clean quality waves at 13th and Townies, it all depends on finding a good bank that’s firing…Beacon no doubt should be sweeeet…the reefs from Posso’s to Bells will be good too…Tuesday will be clean offshore early with a north westerly at 24K’s and 4 to 6ft…13th and Townies will be pretty solid and for the more experienced riders early…a predominate west to north westerly will create a cross shore warp that will make the beachies hard work by 10.00am….the Reefs to the west from Posso’s to Bells will be firing….mmm…stay upright and make a difference Ross Rasta Surf Co
