The Rasta 13th Beach Winter Surf Report 30.06.19

The Rasta 13th Beach Winter Surf Report 30.06.19 High Tide 9.13am Low Tide 2.05pm…As expected there’s a load of westerly wind in this  pattern making a heaps of cross shore wonk on the beachies, surprisingly still clean faces on a peaky swell…hardly any crew around as it looks like a day for the reefs, Posso’s to Bells will be cleaner and more settled. A high tide paddle at Raffamea Bay will be a clean local option me thinks…still all in all a pleasant day to roll the shoulder…mmm…Monday will be north to north westerly at 31K’s and 2 to 4ft…looks like a day of super clean surf at 13th and Townies…yes looking a blustery offshore but it should be good fun…a board with weight is sometimes an advantage these days…mmm…Tuesday will be north westerly at 23K’s and 4 to 5ft…clean offshore at first light but expected to swing more westerly and make for cross shore conditions on the open beaches…likely cleaner on the reefs from Posso’s to Bells, cleaner waves at Raffamea Bay too me thinks…Wednesday will be westerly at 10K’s and 5ft…expected solid surf at 13th and Townies…again likely too cross shore so better quality from Posso’s to Bells…again Raffamea Bay on the high tide will be a clean local option…an onshore by 1.00pm is expected from the south…when that hits think of the sheltered breaks, east of Townies, Fisho’s Torqool, Pt Addis, Pt Road Knight, Lorne and Kennett…Thursday and its looking a little spring like with this easterly wind…fairly light at 9K’s but cross shore here on our beaches, those keen for a paddle will go but no great options with these conditions…maybe Quarantines for those with an inclination for a sea journey…Stay Upright and Make a Difference Ross Rasta Surf Co
